4 More Days

Well, I have four more days of winter vacation left, and then its BACK TO SCHOOL!
yay! <- That's sarcasm. (only noted because you can't hear me)
Anyway, I have been surfing the net, looking for good stuff, checking email, and hanging out with my family...
4 more days until i go back to school and forget that I ever had this peaceful vacation.

New Ticker

If you scroll down on this page, you will find a ticker on the right side of this page that tells how muck the war is costing the US. It is constantly updating.

Happy Holidays

I just read a comment from a friend saying that I have to update my blog more often, and since our family got wireless highspeed internet for X-Mas, I will be updating my blog more often. Thank you for the comments and keep 'em coming.

Today

Today there is a Poetry Slam. Poetry slams are a lot of fun, and you get the.... STOP THE PRESSES. :) I just saw Sam in the library. That is funny. People like Sam don't even know how to spell the word library let alone enter one! That is funny! NOW BACK TO THE POST: Previously on post:Today there is a Poetry Slam. Poetry slams are a lot of fun, and you get the... ...culture the teen-designed culture that this small town that I live in desperately needs. OK, confession time, I live in a small town right next to Detroit. Commonly called a suburb, this small area surrounding a city houses a small amount of people.

Hey all

I don't know if I have told you all this, but I have upgraded to the new Blogger beta. I don't think that you as the viewer could tell the difference, but I have a huge improvement in the way that I can find posts. I have this new feature call "labels" where I can label posts by keyword, so if I have a post about shoes, I'll label the post as shoes. It's great! This feature makes it so easy to find my old posts. Actually I am going to go through all of my old posts and have them labeled.

Unaccompanied Minors

This movie looks really funny. It's about kids that are left in an airport over X-mas, and they seem to have some funny adventures.

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to say Happy Holidays! How are you? I hope that you are all doing well! I am watching The Breakfast Club right now, it's kind of sad. The jock is talking about why he got the detention. Appearently he humiliated a kid so horribly that the kid had to go home. He did it because of the pressure that his father put of him. I have had a great thanksgiving break so far. This is my chance to talk about everything becuase I have extra time.

Hey Everybody

Hey y'all! How are you doing? I hope that you are all doing well. I shouldn't have made you all so worried. LOL. Anyway, I have started school, and I an trying to get amazing grades, however, I am not sure exactly how I am doing. I am not doing well in math, whereas in recent years, I have been doing quite well.

Sorry

I haven't been able to write at all. I have been SO BUSY!!! I have been flooded with sailing stuff, and family stuff. I am trying desperately to sort out everything. It has been VERY stressful these last few days, and I think that I'll crack sometime soon.

Email @ Gmail

I am a bit concerned that someone has somehow gotten my password for one of my email accounts, because very odd messages have been sent from my email address. If this has ever happened to you, DO NOT IGNORE THE SIGNS: Odd messages in your sent folder, a HUGE amount of messages that "Could not be sent", and a HUGE increase in Spam. So what is the answer? Change your password. It sounds too simple to be true, but it really works people. That is the simplest way to get people off. Also, change your security question if you have one. Good Luck.

FINALLY!

We are finally living at the boat! It is exciting to just wake up and be able to jop onto wireless internet, from my bed, and write this post! I can also go to the pool whenever I want. I have sailing in an hour, but it's only a five minute walk, so I'll keep writing! :)

Hey everyone

Well happy birthday USA! I know 4 days late, but I just wanted to give a shoutout to the founding fathers(hey, who said that you can't give shoutouts to dead people). They maybe dead but the great nation that they created lives on and prospers. Just think where you would be is it weren't for the USA. For my fellow Americans, we would most likely be brinking tea because we would be in the colonies. G2G

Summer!

Hay all. I just found a record that I did try to write a post on June 16 telling you all that school was out for me, but I guess that it did not go through. K.

Hi

I know. I know. It's been a long time since I have written, so I am really sorry to all of you readers out there in blogland.

Atheletic Budget Cuts

As the Grosse Pointe Public School District continues to cut the atheletic budget, students continue to pay more and more to play sports. The price to play sports will increase by $15 next year. Here are the facts: 2004-2005: $50 one-time fee 2005-2006: $100 per sport 2006-2007: $115 per sport. This is because the shool district is cutting $122,000 from the atheletic budget because of cuts.

Issues with Blogger

I have been having some major issues with Blogger here at school. It seems like some of the code gets through, and some of the code doesn't.

Let's talk Finals

Final exams are going to be mixed. Some are going to be difficult, and some are going to be easy. There are some classes that I have that don’t even have a final exam. We have a final project instead. Those classes are great right now, because it really takes a load off of my studying junk. Instead of the final exam, we do a huge project that is a bit boring, but it is still better than the final exam! In Science, we have an entire piece of paper that we can use to put notes on for the final exam. In Math, we have a 5 by 8 notecard to put notes on. Even in Civics, we have a 3 by five notecard(both sides) to put stuff on. I have high hopes for these final exams, and final projects.

Extra time!

Hey all. Since this is my online journal, I wanted to inform you all about the special schedule this week. We start at 9.37 because seniors are taking their exams. I think that that is just awesome, because now we can just chill out and lay down in bed for an extra hour. I prefer to sleep, but other people go out to the local restaurant called the Pancake House (with the best food), and some people even come to school early to do catch-up work or even to play on the computer. There are a million ways to spend that extra hour. I am in first hour right now, and we are getting free time to work on stuff, and since I’m done, I can do this. Yay! :)

Swedish Chocolate

When my parents came back from Sweden, they brought back some Swedish chocolate which is delicious. They brought back to candy bars for me. One was regular chocolate with a lot of little air bubbles inside the chocolate, which made the chocolate taste very light and airy. The other bar was chocolate that tastes like oranges. It was amazing!

Back from Sweden

Well my parents are back from Sweden. It must have been fun for my mom, because she was just tagging along with the group of wives of the other execs. She told me that she was the "low girl on the totem pole". I found that pretty funny, because at GM, she was pretty high up in the company.

More Sweden

Did you know that there are more people with cell phones than regular phones(landlines) in Sweden?
Did you know that the country calling-code for Sweden is 46?
The internet county code (like blahblahblah.com) for Sweden is .se!
6.8 million internet users in Sweden!
Thats more than the amount of people that have landlines in Sweden.
There are 255 airports in Sweden!
The public debt is 50.3% of the GDP. That seems pretty high.
Unemployment rate: 6%
The "population below poverty line" is N/A
Inflation rate= 2%!!!!!!! THAT'S AMAZING!
Sweden was a powerhouse in the 17th century, but since have been neutral, remaining "armed but neutral" throughout both world wars.
99% of the population both male and female are literate.
eighty-seven percent of Sweden is Lutheran.
HIV/AIDS deaths = less than 100 (2003 est)
HIV/AIDS adult prevalence rate = .1%
population growth rate = .16%
temperate in south with cold, cloudy winters and cool, partly cloudy summers; subarctic in north
slightly larger than California

Sweden

Since my parents are visiting Sweden this week on a company retreat, I thought that I would talk a bit about the country.

Post #211: UPDATE ON MY LIFE

Hey all. I have been SOOOOO busy that I have not been able to write at all! My parents are away, so we are staying with a family friend who I have mixed feelings about, because often times I feel like she favors my younger sister ALOT!!!! She can be fun at times, but I don't really like being "baby sat" by her.

Hey

Well, I am going to the Secretary of State's office today to get my permit. Hopefully. I will, if I can find time in my mom's ridiculously crazy schedule! I am excited about that though! DRIVING

I am about to drive, so I am really excited about that! Well I have to go soon, so I am going to make this post short. Anyway I passed the first test. It was pass/fail, so I don't know the score. Anyway, I am going to take the true/false test today! Then I'll be taking the final exam, then I go to the Secretary of State's office and get my Level 1, Driver's License. The level one allows me to drive only with a parent or guardian, or an individual that is approved by the parents. I will keep the level 1 for 6 months, then go on to level two, where I can drive alone anytime except midnight to 5am, where I would have to drive with the parent, EXCEPT IF I GO TO AND FROM EMPLOYMENT. When I turn 17, I will go on to Level 3, which is the final level, where I can drive without restrictions.

Driver's Ed

Hey all I would like to talk about driver's ed. First off I would like to talk about the instructors. We have had two instructors so far; Mr. Shmaltz, and Mr. Petit. Shmaltz is old and wrinkly, and Petit looks like he is on steriods. It's kind of creepy, but I know that it will pay off in the end. In terms of driving, I have driven once so far, and that was last Saturday with Petit and Kyle(a kid from the class). We didn;t drive very far, but it still cost ten bucks because of the STUPID GAS PRICES! We drove to a cafe, and grabbed a quick bite to eat. We just drove around the neighborhood. I mastered the almost impossible task of getting into my driveway, which was SO MUCH FUN!!! L8R

Civics Update

In civics, we are starting our econ unit, and today the teacher totally slammed my job on a project that I did right in front of the class!! I was so embarrassed!! It's not like I didn't try, I gave it 100%. I just don't understand the teacher. I think that he hates me. We know that he has "good" favorites, and he has his favorite people to pick on (me). He also hates a girl in my math class.

TV Production Update

In TV Production, our group has set up an interview with our state's governor!!!

Monday

Well today is yet another boring monday

English Update

In English, we are reading To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee

Math Update

Math isn't really that boring, but it could be better.

PE Update

In PE, we are starting our basketball unit.

Business Explorations Update

This class isn't so bad, but the projects that we have to do really stink.

Science Update

This class is officially the most boring class ever!

Stereotype Lecture

Today, South had a speaker come in and talk about stereotypes. I'm not going to use that word again, because it's so long. :) It was fun. There was one topic that I would like to mention. He talked about black people being steriotypical against whites. I thought that this was significant, because I know someone who is African-American, and he says that all white people are racist. I am not saying that all black people say that, but Ime(that's the kid's name) is being racist be saying that all white people are racist. He is also being prejudice. In our society, a black comedian can talk about all white people, and get away with making prejusice statements again white people. If a white comedian trys to do the same, they will be deemed "racist". I find that interesting, because you would normally think that black people are just victoms of racism, but the speaker tells us that they are also helping in the effort of racism. It's very bad, and I know that I am touching on a very sensitive subject, but I do want to say this, and I will say this, because I am hereby excersizing my freedom of speech.

The Voice Teacher

As I was typing the last post, a teacher came up to me and ordered me out of my seat, so of course, I complied, but I found that the teacher who ordered me out, was using a very intimidating tone of voice. You may ask why I would dedicate an entire post to this, but I was embarrassed! It was totally humiliating. I just wanted to recommend that people who were thinking of taking voice, should probably not, because the teacher is really mean. I am even observing it in the way that she was treating her students just now. I just wanted to get that out of my system, so I decided that I would write a post on the subject. L8R

Proverb

intimidation is ammunition for those who are unable to achieve. This is a proverb that I created today as we were losing miserably to a bunch of "jocks" in volleyball last hour. I'm at lunch right now, and I thought that proverb up as I noticed that as we got better and our confidence rose, the "jocks" started to try to intimidate in a final attempt to get our confidence down, so that they can win while we are feeling bad, which must seem better to them for some unknown reason. Who knows! Anyway, it worked on some of the team, but it certainly did not work on me. I saw that final attempt as pathetic, and rude, but I knew that they didn't have any better way to express their feelings, which saddens me.

iTunes Music Store

So I have been doing some thinking and have decided that m podcast should be available in the iTunes Music Store. I had a horrible time trying to put it in, because the stupid thing kept asking me to redo the questions over and over again. By the time I got it in, I was considering dedicating a new podcast to developers who might want to put their podcasts on the iTMS(iTunes Music Store), and I would tell them of the hardships that I have had to experience with the store. I decided that I would just complain to Apple instead, so that I wouldn't be hurting anyone. I tried to do that, and the stupid cudstomer complaint form didn't have an other category. That made me laugh because they say "Give feedback on iTunes" and then you get to the page, and it says "Welcome to the iTunes Music Store feedback center" instead of the iTunes feedback center. Actually I could not find an iTunes feedback center, which just made me laugh. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that it was difficult, but I now have the podcast issues on the iTMS, so that you all can download the episodes to your home computer or iPod, and hear the episodes being read to you. That is just another way that BOJ is on your side. :) Later

Drivers' Training

In this post, I would like to talk about drivers' training. I can't wait for the class, but my parents are putting it off. They have been since last November, so at this point, I am starting to get impatient. Those of you who know me, know that after I ask for something for months, I get really frustrated when it gets put off and put off without an explanation. If there was some good and reasonable explanation for the putting off of driver's ed, I would not be so frustrated. The biggest problem that I have is that my parents tend to do things as though me and my sister are the same age, even though we are two years apart. My sister and I started watching PG-13 movies at the same time, sitting in the front seat at the same time, and if history continues itself, we will start driver's ed together. That, I could not stand. But my mom denies treating us as though we are the same age, even though we both know that she does. My little sister likes it though, because she gets the privalidges without the responsibilities that I am burdened down with. That just infuriates me. If my parents start us in driver's ed together, we will both want cars, and since my dad is the youngest, he likes my sister better(even though he would never admit it). So, of course, my sister would get a car and I would be stuck on my bike. Since you can't seee me right now, I'll describe my facial expression. My teeth are grinding, my eyebrows are pointing down towards my nose, and my lips are tight. Ok, Bill: count to ten... one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. OK, I'm better. Where was I? Oh right, I was at the part where I said that I would be stuck on my bike. Wouldn't that be great? All of my friends older siblings are driving BMW's, and I'm stuck on an stupid bike! Oh well, I have a while to at least attempt to convince my parents that I am worth getting a car for. It's not like my parents can't afford one, but they just don't buy much for us kids. Well, they do, but by the time that they would finish torturing me in the waiting process of buying a car, they would be dead. I'm not exaggerating, because it took months just to buy a sixty dollar desk chair for my desk after the old one collapsed while I was sitting in it. My parents wanted to fix the chair even though they have had it for longer then I have been alive. Steering the post back to driver's training; I am not sure exactly what kind of car I would like. I would like a new one, so that would mean that it would have to be a cheap car. I would maybe like to have my grandmother's old Saturn. That would be nice, because it is totally efficient. Actually, I would probably trade it in for another Saturn, maybe the Vue or the Ion. Definately not the Relay. I don't need a mini-van. :) Well Later.

The next few posts

The next few posts are going to be some fairly older posts that I typed up previously.

Hey.

Hey all. I decided to write this post, just to let you all know that I have not neglected this blog, I just have not had the time to write.

I'm all Google, but formerly Yahoo!

I wanted to continue where I was going on the last post, because I was having some fun talking about I have Gmail(Google Mail must be the full name, although they never use Google Mail). I use Google's search engine, which was hard to change from Yahoo! just because of the habit. Now I use Google Personalized Home-page instead of My Yahoo!. It is actually kind of interesting. From my observations, "Yahoo!" is going down because of all of the new Google innovations. I'm really impressed with Google, because their innovations are creating competition with Yahoo! in areas that Yahoo! once had no competitors that were actually a threat. Now Google is coming in and forcing Yahoo to come out with lots of innovations that their budget cannot compensate for. The tables have turned. Instead of Google trying to keep up with Yahoo!, now Yahoo! is trying desperately to keep up with Google. Another example of Yahoo! now trying to keep up with Google is that they have now renamed their Mail service Y! Mail. Sad huh? Oh well.
I just love Google for their creative and unconventional approach of doing business. Where Yahoo! is very serious about their legal terms, Google is more about putting a bit of fun on their web-services. They have funny messages in the Gmail interface, where you can bet that there are no jokes in the Yahoo! Mail interface.
Keep in mind that Yahoo! still has "more then 50 million accounts open" according to Yahoo!. That is still A LOT more then Google, but give them time :) they'll catch up! I jumped on the bandwagon before the train left the station too, and I'm not trying to advertise for Yahoo! or Google, but I wanted to talk about my experience with both services.
I want to point out that Y! Mail is not in beta, whereas Gmail is in its Beta phase. Beta is a computer means that technically it hasn't come out to the general public yet. Even though I have it, and can give it to anyone, it doesn't mean that it is officially available. Beta is a way of saying that there ae still bugs in the service that need to be fixed before the official release. So if there is a problem with Gmail, which there aren't(which makes one wonder why it's still in Beta, but I'm glad that it's private, because it makes me feel cool having something that is not available for the public), it is to be expected, but if there is a problem with Y! Mail, I get frustrated, because they "took the problems out" when they took off the Beta "stamp" ten years ago!
Ok, so now I want to talk about my experience with Yahoo has been odd. I have not enjoyed the bugs with the Java interface that appear when I log in at school. But I do enjoy the extra features like different color schemes. That's nice.
I have had my Gmail account for a shorter time than I have had my Yahoo!, so it still seems new to me. But that could also be because they unveil a new feature almost every week. Gmail is great because I don't have any problems with Gmail's Java interface at school, because it works with the firewall instead of against it. I find that that part of Gmail is really worth getting. Just for that feature alone. But Gmail has always increased their features very fast, and so I would like to note that even though I like Yahoo! mail I like Gmail more.
Thank you and remember to read the archives!

Archives

I have been looking at my site counter, and I have noticed that you all are reading my archived pages, and I would like to thank you all for doing that. I love to keep the archived pages up, even though it is annoying or me, because it can generate errors when I try to publish new posts, because I have made so many posts. Once, the whole Blogger server crashed. OOPS! :) But it was fixed within minutes, and I luckily had a back-up of the post. It was actually a bit funny in a weird way. It was then that I realized that I was really committed to making this blog work, and I am too far along to change services, not that I would ever want to, because now I do almost all of my online work with some kind of Google(R) service. OK, I'm digressing, so I'll get back to thanking you for reading the archives. Later!

Hitch(A movie Review)

I recently saw Hitch. It is about a "Date Doctor" who just happens to fall in love himself. He falls for a gossip columnist, which creates some interesting action, since his business is referral only. It is a secret that the gossip columnist wants to know about, but it's funny, because she doesn't know that Hitch(as Albert Hitchens is nick-named) is really the date doctor. It turns out that he is exposed, but there is a happy ending. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comedy about romance, but not necessarily a "romantic comedy". Have a great day.

The Sizzling Saturday

Well this is my last Saturday of my vacation and I am going to make sure that I enjoy it. I want to make it last as long as I possibly can. I would like o just sleep, but I have decided to write some posts first.

TV Production: From "Nay!" to "Yay!"

When my counselor told me that he was going to switch me into TV Production class, I was very disappointed, but I decided to give it a try, and I really enjoy it now. It is probably my favorite class, and it is definitely worth it. We get to operate cameras, and a lot of other fun things, like very cool audio and visual tools. We are also learning how to produce a television show. It is truly a great class.

Trike-athon

Last Thursday I took part in a Trike-athon. It was where toddlers took their trikes ad rode around the main gym at South, and every third hour class sponsored a kid. Our class sponsored a little kid named Sean. He was the winner doing 122 1/2 laps. It was crazy. We could not believe that he did so many laps!!! It was great!

New Keyboard

Hello. This is Bill on this ultra-fine day. I am tying on my new Apple Bluetooth Keyboard. I would recommend it because it just works. Well so far anyway. LOL. Anyway, I hope to get more information up onto the blog soon. I have a question for you first though: do you have a blog????? If so, make a comment or send me a message at the send-me-a-message part of the site! Have a great day everyone, and be safe.

Mid-Winter Break

Hey everybody. I have the next week of school off, because of Mid-Winter Break. We aren't going on a vacation though because. I am watching The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Cody. It's deemed "Nothing but new" I can't stop laughing. It's so funny. I love it. Anyway, I will have to stop typing in a little while, but you'll hear from me soon.

New Posts Coming Soon

More Internet stuff

Hey. I wanted to post more on the IMing. Before, I showed you some IM symbols that are commonly used in IMing, but right now, I wanted to note how people IM with each other. I'm sure that you have heard about the stories about people getting physically harmed because of their horrible actions on the Internet. The media blows that problem up to a size that is more alarming then the actual numbers. That doesn't mean, however, that you can go to chatrooms, and expect lots of church-style respect for one another. I have been to a computer chatroom once, and was so suprised at the nerve of some of those people. It was actually creepy. I left within 2 minutes of entering. It was creepy. People say the worst things, because they figure that they don't know the people, so it shouldn't make a difference how they treat their fellow chatters. It is horrible. It is also couwardly. It makes you think: these people probably could not get away with saying the things that they say if they were to say them in real life, so they figure that they can just say it on-line and they will never be bothered by the people again. Actually it is a crime that you can go to JAIL for!!!! It is called cyber-bullying. That is not the legal name, but the "street name". Well, anyway, it's very bad!

Internet Abbreivations

g2g or G2G = Got to go
L8R or l8r = later
lol or LOL= laugh out loud
OMG =OH MY GOD
omg(lowercase) = oh my goodness
R = are
U = you
B = Be or Bee
BS= B***S*** <- PLEASE EXCUSE THAT BUT UNFORTUNATELY PEOPLE SAY THAT ONLINE A LOT
PLZ= Please
Yea, Ya =Yeah
NOTE: Some people don't regard the difference of "OMG" and "omg", because the only difference is capitalization.  But I use them differently.

My writing style

You might have noticed that I digress A LOT!!! :) Anyway, I wanted to just point that out in a post, so that we're all clear, and I'm clear to digress as much as I want. But I felt that you readersshould know that I do digress just in case you haven't already noticed which would be hard, because I digress on almost every post that I write. LOL!!!! I hope that you just know that I will probably always digress when I write these posts. :) Later or in internet form: L8R

Mid-Winter Break

I have enjoyed my vacation, but it will be time to go back to school on Monday.  I am well rested, and believe it or not, I'm ready to head back to school to finish up the year.  If there was less vacation, we would have more summer vacation.  In that regard, I might like to have a week or two less of vacation and just have a huge summer vacation.  That would be great.  But anyway, mid-winter break has been very fun.

Yahoo! Mail...

Even though I have one gig of mail storage space in my Yahoo! Mail account, I would love more space because I am already using a lot of it............. Later that minute....... Why did I just write that??????? Ok, I'll Start over: Pause......... I can't think of anything that I haven't said before in previous posts. Oh well. L8R

New Widget

I have a new widget that I am composing this post on right now.  It is on my Mac Dashboard.  I am having fun thinking of the possibilities, because now I dont have to log in, because it does that automatically.  I don't have to worry about any errors in publishing etc.  It's going to be fun!  Well see you all later!

Lack of Stuff to do

This is an old post.
I am really bored right now. I have like 15 minutes left to do stuff because we have been working on an easy assignment in Math that everyone is now finished with. I don't have any homework to do right now. Well expect more posts very soon.

GM

General Motors is in trouble. They have made some dumb decisions, and now the wrong people are suffering for the executives' wrongdoings. Despite this, I urge you to buy General Motors vehicles. You must admit that their cars are very appealing despite the reputation of the company that makes them. Many of my relatives and my friends parents work or have worked at General Motors. I love the company despite their flaws and I believe that their cars are simply unbeatable. The Japanese companies like Toyota and Honda and Nissan use ununionized workers which allows them to treat their employees like dirt, and they do just that. It bothers me how they can't treat people better. They justify this by saying that it helps lower their prices. They also keep American-made cars out of Japan by requiring an inspection on every foriegn-made car that comes into Japan. If we inspected every imported car and every imported car part like the Japanese, we could literally save the mid-western economy! I urge you to support GM, Ford, and Chrysler. They are the companies that truly move our great nation forward.

Conclusion

That concludes the previously typed posts. From here on I will resume the normal posts.

The Last Few Posts

If you have noticed, recently I have included a summary of the last few posts on the blog. I intend to call on this tradition right now. I have been talking about CPR, name calling, flirting and I have even shared a few notes that I took in PE. I’m afraid I can’t tell you what I plan to do because right now.

More on Name Calling

After thinking about this, I have decided that kids who call names are just unsure. They are unsure about themselves, their friends and other aspects of their lives. I feel pity for those victims. At ULS name-calling was everywhere in every hallway and corridor. Name calling was everywhere. I recently saw someone called a very rude name which inspired me to write these two entries. Later!

Notes from PE

There are some notes that you should now.
1) Sudden cardiac arrest is when the heart stops pumping blood.
2) The best chance for survival depends on early CPR.
3) For every minute that passes without defibrillation the victims chance of survival falls by 7 to 10 percent.
4) After four minutes without CPR brain damage begins.

Name Calling

Why do people call names? Is it because they feel insecure about themselves? Is it because they think that they will become cool?? More later

Flirting

I am stunned at the lengths that some kids in my high school will go to impress the opposite sex. The funny part is that the guys tell the girls that their secrets are safe, but then some of the same guys go and blab to their friends. It is so odd. I truly don’t get it.

CPR in PE

We are now involved in the CPR unit in PE. There are some kids who are screwing around and throwing paper at one another. Isn?t that pathetic? Our gym teacher can?t control the class. The kids know that his threats are empty or at least we haven?t seemed them actually and he is grading everyone down, even though only a select few people are misbehaving.

The Next Few Posts

The Next Few Posts are going to be posts that have been previously typed up. They were typed up last week. I will inform you when they stop.

Blah

I don't really have anything to write about, so I'm going to type up my notes. Later.

Internet

I am still unable to get a good internet connection at home. I frankly don't know what to do. I have tried Net Zero, but that "doesn't work for the Mac". I am working on finding other FREE ISP's(Internet Service Providers) that work for the Mac. I have thought about looking up the local Net Zero call-in number, and putting it into my mac. I would also need a free account, so that is out. And even if it would be willing to try to get Net Zero onto the Mac, I would only be able to go online for ten hours every month. I would like to get another alias on our current ISP. That would allow me to go online for an unlimited amount of hours, and I would get a free POP3 e-mail account(which I would probably never use, because I like my webmail accounts so much). It would even be linked to the main account, so that my mom could monitor the webpages that I visit. I'm 15, but she still likes to know where I go on the Internet. This problem is very frustrating, but I will find a way. The other alias wouldn't even cost extra. Oh well.

Google's New Office

You will never guess what I just read on Google Jobs! Google is looking for people to work at their new office............. ON THE MOON!!!!! I'm not even joking. I can't believe it, but there it is!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE(JULY 2007): THAT WAS A JOKE THAT GOOGLE DID FOR APRIL FOOLS DAY

the truth about daimonds

Have you heard about the semi-new book by the actor Nicole Richie fromt eh Simple Life? It's called "The truth about diamonds". It sounds interesting. In case you didn't know Nicole Richie is the celeb that is so slim that you can see her vital organs under her skin. It's creepy! Anyway, the book is a novel and it's on sale now. I have not read it yet, and I was wondering what you all have to say about this. Make a comment!

TV: The Flintstones Season Four

I have recently purchased The Flintstones Season Four. It is the first season that has Bamm-Bamm! I just love the cute little kid. He goes Bam! Bam! Bam!-Bam!-Bam! It is really funny. I still love the first episode that Bamm-Bamm appears. I have seen it three times in the last few days, but I still enjoy the episode. I would highly recommend it! Later

Didi Hughes

Didi Hughes was a mother, daughter, sister, friend, cousin and community leader. Around Thanksgiving time 2005, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She died on January 23, 2006. She was very close friends with my mom, and my sister and I go to school with her kids. This post is my way of remembering her. I would like this post to serve as a tribute to Didi Hughes.

FTP hosting

I am still looking for some service that offers free FTP hosting, so that I can upload some cool pictures and other files that I want to share. Of course, I would not share anything personal, just pix of cool apple computers and other things like that. The FTP hosting would have to be free, and it would have to work with the Mac. I'll keep you all posted! Oh, and tell your friends about the site through my new "Tell a Friend" feature fron Bravernet. Later

Hey, Hey, Hey!

HEY HEY HEY! IT'S FAT ALBERT!! No I'm just kidding. It's Bill. I have been working on this blog, and brainstorming ways to get increased traffic to the site in almost all of my free time. My free time is limited, because I have midterms, but the time that I have after studying, I can devote to making this site the best that it can be. After all, you are reading Bill's Online Journal. The totally nonfiction blog about... well me. And my life. Later

Wrap-up:Marketing

I loved everything about Mraketing! I am very sad to see the end of the class. I have enjoyed it so much that I have signed up for Marketing 2 and 3 for next year. g2g Later

Wrap-up: Information Processing

I'm not quite sure if I liked Information Processing. I guess that I had a love/hate relationship with the class. I liked learning to type faster, but I hated the way she graded. I could turn in something, and would get a C and someone would turn in something of lower quality and get an A. I was really discusted at this. In a way, I am glad to see IP go. I did like the lack of homework, though. Everything that we did was in class work. That was nice.

New Outlook: Science

I look forward to another year in Earth Science with Mr. McIntyre. I have had fun in his class. We recently got a new room, because they finished up the S-Building. We probably got that room about 3 weeks ago. I like the room. I especially like the eye-wash station. We never use it, but when you push this big button, a cascade of water pours down on you. Your clothes are ruined, but that's better then losing your eye-sight because you get chemicals in your eye. It's fun in Science, and that's where I'm going next, so I'll keep you all posted. Later, and read the archives, and post comments!

Landmark Achievements of this Blog

In recent days and weeks, this blog has seen major changes, and improvements. I have added guestbook, polls, ecards, frequently asked questions(FAQ), and location bulletin markers to my site. I have seen a major increase in the site's traffic. That has been a very good thing. Also, I am going to be getting the ads that you see from Google fixed, so that you can click on them and I will get something. Right now, it's setup where you click on the ad, and I don't make any money. I have also added a bravenet forum, and "site-ring, where you can get to sites that I like. I might actually take that down, because noone is using it, which is good, because I couldn't figure out how to set it up properly! ;-) I can't wait to take it down actually. I will have more room in my sidebar to store more bravenet features like horoscopes, which I would read in the newspaper, except for three reasons. I think that I'm Scorpio, but I'm not positive. Also, I don't get a newpaper that has horoscopes. And the few times, that I do buy a paper from the stand, and look for the horoscopes, I can't find them. I probably would not read them everyday, even if I had offline access to them. That's why, you should see a horoscope feature from Bravenet, go up sometime soon. If I get the time that is. I have also added a Google search engine to the sidebar. That is pretty nice.

back to school

I have not been able to post very much, because I have been on break, but now that I am back to school, I can type some new posts. In the background I am uploading my school files to my Yahoo! account, so that I can delete them from my school account, because they are very old, and I don't want to slow down the school servers with old files. Yahoo gives me one gigabyte of mail storage space, so I can store the old files that I have on my Yahoo! Mail account. I can only send 10 megs at a time though. Anyway, back to school. We are reviewing in Science, starting poetry in English. Later.
