I would like to take a few minutes to talk about bullying. It occurs everywhere; in schools, in public places like parks, at work and more. I have been one of many victims of bullying. A very small amount of bullying is something that I consider to be normal. I don’t mind a little. It just shows that the bullies are insecure about one or more flaws in their character. It doesn’t bother me if bullying happens only a little bit because I can just brush it off. The problem is that recently it has happened in larger amounts. The worst part: The teacher did absolutely nothing about it. If it does continue, I will be forced to take action. I am still writing my speech to the school board. I might just incorporate bullying into it. The administration would be another place to turn if the school board does nothing. That is HIGHLY unlikely though. The board would most definitely take action against bullying.

More Computer Trouble
I am having more trouble. Now the computer charger just gave out. I’m out of a computer for like a week. That’s bad because I completely lose touch with the world! News, weather, stocks; everything is on the computer. The good part of this catastrophe is that I’ll have plenty of time to write posts. I’m going to be writing a big list of things that I plan to write about. Anyway, I went to the Apple store at Partridge Creek. They told me that it was the LogicBoard. That’s Applespeak for the motherboard. When I asked how much it would be to fix, they told me that it would be $560. Then I asked how much it would probably sell for on eBay, she said it would probably fetch around $500. What I plan to do, is spend the $80 to get a new charger, and then sell it on eBay. It should fetch a lot of money. I’m hoping for at least $700 because I’m bundling Microsoft Office and some Adobe programs with it. The whole package(bundled software plus the computer) is probably worth somewhere between $900 and $1000. That plus some of my savings will allow me to purchase a MacBook or even a Macbook Pro! I would be able to get a fully loaded MacBook or a well equipped MacBook Pro for that price. I think what I plan to do is certainly sell my laptop, and purchase a new 15” MacBook Pro. I don’t think that I can afford the 17”, but I would absolutely love to have one. I was also thinking about getting a job to help replenish my savings.

Just Got home At 10:40
Hey everybody. They just drove in the driveway. Naturally, Mrs. Robinson forgot the pecans.
Mrs. Robinson 2008
OK guys, here's the scoop. It's 10 o'clock at night, and I am home alone. As you know, my parents are in the Bahamas but my sister and I are staying at home with a family friend watching us. Somehow my sister Mrs. Robinson(the family friend), that they should go to Big Boy's restaurant at 10 PM!!! So they were supposed to get home at 8:30 when Mrs. Robinson got back from her meeting. Instead here it is 10 PM and they are going to Big Boy's. Then I asked Mrs. Robinson if she could swing by and pick up some pecans at the grocery store. She replied, "Oh Lizzie told me that all of the grocery stores were closed." I wanted to laugh at her gullibility. It's nothing against Mrs. Robinson personally, because I love her to death, but I have to ask; what the hell is going through her head?!?

Suprisingly lewd and reprobate comments made by administration
Hey. I want to write about an article that was found in today's Tower. As you may know the Tower is our high school's newspaper. This week there was a new look. They got a new printer, and their picture quality has gone down. I'm not complaining because they have more space for articles but this really isn't what I want this post to be about. This post is about some statements that were made by a member of the GP South administration that I personally consider to be extremely offensive and discriminatory. On the front page of today's Tower there is an article entitled, "GONE: GSA dissolves at South". The Gay-Straight Alliance was a group that helped the gay community by providing a forum for people the GLBTQ community to voice their views, and educate the public on gay rights and the gay movement. Unfortunately, not everyone was supportive of this club. Assistant Principal Michele Yankee's blatant comment, "Nobody cared about the GSA" will certainly get her into trouble. It's lewd and inflammatory comments such as this that inspired the gay community to create these types of programs in the first place. I have a very close friend who happens to be lesbian, and the fact that she cannot be represented is very disappointing. I find it disgusting that a member of a school administration thinks that she has the right to make comments like these. I certainly hope that next week, she writes into the Tower apologizing for the comments that she has made. Otherwise, I will certainly present this to the school board because of the nature of her comments. I consider them to be very close minded and bigoted. Towards the end of the article she says, "I don't think anybody realizes that it's not running." She also says, "You can't be focused on such a small issue that only pertains to a few people or else no one will support it." Is she saying that just because the GSA only focuses on GLBTQ issues, no one will or perhaps should support it?? If you are reading this Ms. Yankee, I certainly hope that you take these comments seriously because when one makes peremptory and bullheaded comments, you just lead people to believe that you are an obdurate person, and no one wants that kind of person in a position of power. I will try to keep you all updated on any further developments.

Internet Soon to be Fixed
The Internet is going to be fixed at home very soon. I'm excited because I will be able to post stuff without waiting for the family computer to become available. The loss of wireless internet has greatly affected our family. Conflicts have arisen and problems have occured because of it. I also can't wait to get online in my room. Facebook will be so much fun because I have only been able to use it for a few minutes each day. I have been able to type the posts on my laptop while I'm offline of course, but I can't put it online for everyone else to see. My email has probably been building up and I'm almost scared to check it.

Possible technical difficulties
There have been some outages recently that I would like to comment on. I have been able to edit the blog, however I haven't been able to view the blog. I can't get to Blog*Spot, but I can get to Blogger. Right now I cannot tell if it's simply on my end, or if Blogger is experiencing technical difficulties. I know that they recently launched the new version of Blogger, so it is possible that the problems are on their end, however I have been experiencing problems with the Internet connection at home. Sometimes the connection 'gets lazy' and just doesn't access the site that is demanded of it. In any case, I'll keep you all updated as the situation pans out.

Arguement
Hey all you readers, you can tune this message out because it's for my family. We had an arguement tonight and I just wanted to apologize. I can't say that I am not at all to blame, because I played a part. I just hope that everyone involved learns from this experience and I'm praying that it will not happen again.
Love to all,

New Site
Hey everybody! I just wanted to ask you to check out the new site. I've had some problems with it, but I have fixed most of them. The major problem came when I first upgraded what is called the 'template'. They kept telling me to upgrade, so I did, and it erased EVERYTHING!! I was so angry with blogger. But I have put most of the services back up onto the site, and of course I will keep blogging as my life progresses. ;) l8r OH! and read the archives! :)

OK Problem
I was just talking to the owner of the salon that I would like to work for. The owners are friends of the family. Anyway, I learned that apparently, I am not the only applicant for the job. He says that there are ten count-em' TEN other applicants ahead of me. He said that he'll contact me when hee makes his decision. I doubt that he'll choose me however, I hope that he does because I would really like to work there. Wish me luck! I'll tell you all how it goes.
